Brian Gibson booking

Mum has booked us in for a reading with 1 of the best mediums in our area. Brian Gibson. Its a couple sitting for both me and mum which will be interesting. Its in August and im looking forward to hearing what he has to say.

Havnt been very spiritual at all for the past few months - too much going on in life and I can rest myself and get into the right mind. I so wish I could.

Contact using old family photo's

Im not sure how it came about but me, Mum and Dave got around to talking about contacting the spirit world and Dave suggested that I take one of his old family photo's and see if I 'get' anything. I had my doubts because I havnt really beeing in tune for months now. But I took myself by surprise and everyone else when I began mensioning names, emotions and other things about the people in the photo. I did exactly the same with a different photo and was quite freeked out with how good I was being. I intend to keep practicing and see if I could possibly do it with a 3rd photo. Was well impressed.

A brake from spirituality

I recently decided to give up on the practice of mediumship and told the spirit world in a prayer that I wanted to concentrate on earthly things or now because im finding it hard to balence the 2 together. From that day onwards I have niether heard, seen or fealt anything around me. Im just hoping they havnt abandoned me for good. I find it hard to get on with my life when I am constently seeing and hearing things in my head that I cant translate or understand. It was stopping me from living my life on earth and stopping me from making choices and decisions that would move me on in life. I now finding it easier to cope and to think more about myself and what I want while here on earth. I dont find it more important, rather that if I dont move on in body soon, I will struggle to move on spiritualy too.

Mediumship

Mediums are people who have a special gift that allows the spirit people to give mesages from the afterlife. The objective of a mediums work is to prove survival of the human personality after death and to help the bereaved come to terms with their loss. Sittings with mediums are not for fortune telling but are experimental sessions to provide evidence of survival. Any attempt to communicate with Spirit is, by its very nature, purely experimental and therefore, results can never be guaranteed

I personally believe that the talent of a medium is true. I practice mediumship everyday by meditating and 'listening' for any kind of communication from the spirit world. This communication can take any form depending on how strong the spirit is, from knocking, voices and even seeing a spirit. Usualy as spirit will never show him or herself unless it is absolutely nesassery. Spirits are very understanding and they realise that we on Earth find 'seeing' strange things very disturbing. I always think that our psychic mind is often helped by past relatives or 'Guides' that want us to know perticular things before they happen. So, being psychic actualy make you a medium in many ways.

Mediumship can take 2 forms

Physical Mediums: Physical phenomena is of such a nature that it is usually demonstrated only at private seances. Any person sitting with the medium can hear or see what is happening. By means of raps, audible voices or materialised figures the spirit people convey intimate information about themselves, their recollection of their earthly lives and details of their lives in the spirit world.

Mental Mediums: Mental phenomena is demonstrated through the mind of a medium. Mediums identify three forms of mental mediumship:

1. CLAIRVOYANCE when mediums see the spirit
2. CLAIRAUDIENCE when mediums hear the spirit
3. CLAIRSENTIENCE when mediums senses the presence and the thoughts of the spirit.
